News updates surrounding "One-Punch Man" season 2 have been scarce, but the latest rumor going around is that the anime, which has developed a cult following since its release in October 2015 by Madhouse Studio, will be released later this year.

The rumors seemed to ignited by this Twitter post which alleged, "One Punch Man no doubt will come to Toonami. Probably by the end of the year."

If the speculation is true, the next question is whether "One-Punch Man" season 2 will be dubbed, instead of subbed, but there's no news update yet to be able to give a signification conclusion.

Adult Swim, which relaunched Toonami in 2012, is not averse to showing animes with subs such as the popular titles "Naruto," "Bleach," or "Attack on Titan," so it's not out of the realm of possibility that "One-Punch Man 2" will continue to get subs, which would be good news for purist fans.

The plot for "One-Punch Man" is almost too ridiculous, but fans apparently gravitate towards the perfect mix of action and humor. There's something endearing about a hero that nobody really knows about.

The synopsis reads, 'One-Punch Man is a super hero who has trained so hard that his hair has fallen out, and who can overcome any enemy with one punch. However, because he is so strong, he has become bored and frustrated with winning all his battles so easily."

The exact release date is not known for "One-Punch Man" season 2, but there should more information that will come out in the coming weeks.
