One Direction New 2013 Album,"Midnight Memories" Review

The british boy band, One Direction, has just released their third studio-album titled, "Midnight Memories". The clever titles suggests that the boy band is ready to be more thought of a band of men, rather than latter point of view. According to The Guardian, the new album proves just how much the boy band is ready to grow up in the music genre and  'transition from sweet boys to young seducers'. "Midnight Memories" is slightly different than the bands last two albums with more guitar throughout the whole record, wether it's electric, accoustic, loud, and soft, the album has a slight Mumford & Sons ring to it. The 12-track album features songs about literal 'midnight memories', special girls that have obviously made an impact on the boys, and just the overall dating process in general. One Direction reportedly even wrote all 12-songs and/or collaborated to all of the singles on the new album.

"Best Song Ever" makes the first track on the album and it is already hitting top of Billboard charts, making the 2013 album so much more than the latest debuts. "Story of My Life", is the soft, acoustic-based single that  is reminiscent of a previous hit with the same overtones, "Little Things."  So far, critics have raved about "Midnight Memories", calling it 'impressive' and 'mature'. The Los Angeles Time Review stated that One Direction's new album, "Midnight Memories" is 'easily the year's most convincing rock album and one that suggests that the genre has, like all other genres in 2013, broken free of its own foundations'. One Direction may get their dream afterall, while all the while, hitting the top of all the music charts for "Midnight Memories". Check their latest song, "Midnight Memories" below.
