"The Office" might have had a rough last year in ratings and story line, except for the relational struggles between Jim and Pam which were intriguing because we had not seen that from them really to this point, but last nights final episode was a feel good story for any fan of the show.
Fans of the show were hoping for a reunion of the "good times" on the show when it was at its comedic peak. They want to see who all would be on the final episode. The episode was based around Dwight and Angela's bachelor/bachelorette party and wedding.
If you tuned back in, you were not disappointed. B.J. Novak (Ryan) and Mindy Kaling (Kelly) also made guest appearances back on the show which was nice to see.
If you were a dedicated watcher over the years, you were ecstatic that Michael Scott (Steve Carrell) actually made an appearance on the final show, which had almost been unanimously denied that he would.
So it didn't even really what Michael Scott said or did, just the fact of seeing him back on "The Office" for the final episode, just brought smiles to everyones face that was watching.
Michael Scott made his appearance looking a little older with some grey in his hair, but he looked truly happy. He was proudly showing off pictures of his new family to Pam during Dwight's wedding ceremony.
Steve Carrell made the show successful, he is what landed the biggest laughs and had the most awkward moments as Scott. So even with Dwight, Jim and Pam, it was never quite the same after Scott left the show.
It was a nice trip down memory lane for all fans of the show last night and I think brought closure to the soon to be classic comedy series.
