Nintendo NX Release Date News: Nintendo’s Console To Hit Market Between October, December?

Gamers are set to explore more about Nintendo's upcoming gaming console, the Nintendo NX, this year, according to the latest reports.

According to Cheat Sheet Entertainment, Nintendo is set to announce its forthcoming video game console in the code name NX in May and reveal its actual name in June. The publication added that the anticipated release of the console would be in October or November.

It is also assumed that 2015 was Nintendo's "transition year," since the gaming tech company had put out a number of games in a stretched span of time. In addition, some believe that Nintendo's developers were still preoccupied with creating new games for the new system.

The Nintendo NX is set to push the months to the end of 2016, as indicated by Forbes. Analyst groups told the publication that the new console is set to show itself to the games in holiday 2016, despite others predicting a release this summer.

In 2015, Nintendo acknowledged the existence of the Nintendo NX, not to a full extent, so as to ascertain the investors that they had not been getting out of the hardware business following the Wii U. For the time being, people just have Nintendo's previous patents, which serve as pieces of a puzzle that help gamers conceptualize on what a Nintendo NX console could look like.

Previous reports revealed that Nintendo has a pattern in announcing its gaming consoles, just like what Apple does with its product lines. Nintendo reportedly announced a console in the summer of a year, revealing some details about the hardware and the software. Then, the announcement to the public followed a year and a half later for the holiday.

If Nintendo continues to delay its revelation of the Nintendo NX console, it is assumed that the device's release date is going to be pushed beyond 2016.
