According to the publication, the price reductions are linked to possibilities that a new Nexus line up is coming, which includes the fresh Nexus 7. As per speculations, giant tech company Google is considering the inclusion of a tablet to the 2016 line of Nexus devices.

The publication added that the discounts for the Nexus 5X were still ongoing, adding that that base model Nexus 5X with an internal storage of 16 GB and comes together with the Project Fi option presently costs $199. On the other hand, the Nexus 5X 32 GB variant can be purchased at $249.
