Social Club Misfits, and Zach Williams have all signed up to perform at the sixth annual awards show taking place Sunday, May 27 at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry.
Presenting the awards for each respective category Sunday night will be artists Danny Gokey, Mike Donehey of Tenth Avenue North, Natalie Grant, and Plumb, while fellow artists Mandisa and Matthew West will co-host the 2018 K-LOVE Fan Awards.
On Sunday morning, just ahead of the evening's awards ceremony, Bethel Worship will host a worship service together with Cory Asbury and Francesca Battistelli, along with a message from Brian Johnson.
On Saturday, May 26, Steven Curtis Chapman will host a Songwriters Showcase in the evening, while early risers can participate in the popular Run for Love 5K fun run, offering weekenders the opportunity to assist in raising awareness and providing help for the orphaned and abandoned people in Haiti through the Hands and Feet Project.
For the first time, the awards show, sponsored by Coca-Cola Consolidated, will also be broadcast on television. TBN will broadcast the 2018 K-LOVE Fan Awards on Thursday, May 31, at 8 p.m. ET to a potential audience of more than 100 million households, with most markets experiencing the show in HD. Viewers can find their local TBN channel through the network's Channel Finder here.
The K-LOVE Fan Awards is an offshoot of the K-LOVE radio network and aims to create a fan experience that "celebrates and promotes artists, athletes, authors, and entertainers who, with excellence, engage and impact popular culture for Jesus Christ." In 2016, K-LOVE and John Sanders, LLC/Edion Events were honored with two Emmy Awards in the categories of Lighting and Set Design as a result of the K-LOVE Fan Awards show, which was co-created by John Sanders, David Pierce, and Steve Strout.
