New MacBook Pro Release Date, Rumors: Apple to Launch Upgraded Device in 2015?

Latest reports suggest that Apple is likely to release the much-awaited MacBook Pro sometime during 2015. While earlier reports claimed that the Cupertino-headquartered tech titan would release a new version of the MacBook Pro sometime in 2014, it is now being said that the device will be launched alongside the MacBook Air sometime during 2015's second quarter.

A recent report by Christian Today says that while Apple has yet to release the precise details regarding the purported device, there are reports that the London-based designer Hass T. has crafted the device. This information was shared by the designer on its Google+ account at the end of 2014.

A post by Hass T read, "MacBook Pro 2 has is a touch screen Retina HD Display, a first in a MacBook, a very lightweight aluminium body with a darker colour finish, an improved Facetime HD camera with nearly all the features you get from the iPhone 6's camera and possibly the best feature of them all, its detachable! You can flip the screen around or simply take it off so it's a tablet as well a fully performing MacBook!"

Nevertheless, Apple Inc. has yet to confirm or deny the designer's claims.

As of now, Apple has just stated that it plans to release a new model of its MacBook Air in 2015. According to the tech firm, the upcoming MacBook Air 2015 will have enhanced specs, including a new MagSafe connectors, full-sized USB ports, in addition to new SD card slots.

It is being speculated that the new model of the MacBook Air will have a relatively smaller frame, measuring 12-inches, against the 13-inch MacBook Air model released earlier. On the other hand, the new MacBook Air is expected to be much slimmer compared to the existing products of Apple.

According to other reports, Apple may also unveil a new model of its iMac in 2015. Apple launched the latest iMac computer product on Oct. 16 last year.

The 27-inch variety of the device incorporated Retina 5K technology. Though the new iMac does not figure in the list of new products Apple plans to launch in 2015, fans are eagerly waiting for another update of the desktop computer from the Cupertino-based company.
