Netflix May 2016 New Releases and Movies, Series: Here Are What Fans Can Watch This May

It is May and the following shows are what fans can expect to stream on Netflix.

According to PC Magazine, Netflix is bound to release "Marseille," a French television series and Netflix original from "Carlos" creator Dan Franck. Starring "The Last Metro" and "Police" star Gerard Depardieu, "Marseille" also serves as Netflix's first French original production.

As per the publication, "Marseille" is set in the French city of the same name; thus, it will feature the locale's beautiful views, along with elements containing political issues, drug lords, and vengeance. The series was ordered on July 10, 2015 and with eight episodes in its first season 1, "Marseille" is set to air worldwide on May 5.

Chelsea Handler is also set to have her new talk show on Netflix this month and it is set to be titled "Chelsea." Handler is known to present some views on latest news stories, including gossips, pop culture, celebrity interviews, call-in from viewers. The show also features a roundtable of celebrities who share their insights on current events. As per Tech Times, the talk show is set to premiere on May 11.

Netflix is set to stream hair-erecting stories with R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps." It was Stine himself who made the announcement on June 1, 2013 that the first thirteen episodes of the Canadian-American horror anthology were set to stream on Netflix. The show initially aired on Oct. 27, 1995 and featured average children in a weird and alternate reality, where they have to deal with odd and scary situations. "Goosebumps" is set to air on May 11.

May will also air the season premiere of the mockumentary "Lady Dynamite." It centers on the life of Maria Bamford, who plays the fictionalized version of herself. The show also stars Fred Melamed, who plays the role of Bamford's manager, Bruce Ben-Bacharach. "Lady Dynamite" is set to air on May 20.

"Chef's Table" season 2 is also one of the upcoming Netflix shows this May. Created by Davd Gelb, the show highlights the accounts and kitchen skills of six of the world's most prominent global chefs. Every episode sees the profile of a single chef and his views on cooking as their talent and passion, as well as his lived experiences as a chef. "Chef's Table" is set to air on May 27.

As per Tech Times, some of the Netflix films that are set to premiere in May include "Goosebumps," "Shanghai Knights," "Pleasantville," "Bring It On," and Steven Brill's "The Do Over," which is slated to premiere on May 27.
