'Need For Speed No Limits' Release Date News: Mobile Racing Sim Available For Free on Apple iOS & Android in 2015

Game publisher Electronic Arts has just announced an iOS and Android version of 'Need for Speed No Limits' that's set to release in 2015.

Game Studio Fire Monkey is developing the new game for smartphones. The details are not final, but the company's producer Robert Huebner will reveal the characters and features in the coming months.

"We've built 'No Limits' from the ground up to deliver the insanely-fast driving and incredible graphics that fans have come to expect from 'Need for Speed' - all in the palm of your hand," wrote Huebner on EA's The Beat.

Some sources believe that 'NFS: No Limits' can be as successful as Firemonkey's 'Real Racing'.

"The team at Firemonkeys has also been bringing Need for Speed to mobile gamers for years, and it's an honor and a privilege to once again get behind the wheel of this incredible franchise and redefine street racing on mobile. We're constantly amazed by the power and performance we're able to get out of the latest phones and tablets and think you will be too," added Heuebner on The Beat.

To promote the incoming application, EA released a racing video on YouTube last week featuring professional driver Ken Block. The video showed the racer driving a 1965 Ford Mustang Gymkhana 7 in the streets of Los Angeles.

The video did not provide additional details about the upcoming mobile game, however, players predicted that it will involve risky racing. Gamers are hopeful that the game will be free just like 'Real Racing'.

The market for mobile gaming has widened reaching places like India, where 'Need for Speed' is highly successful. Some are of the view that the new project may prove to be very beneficial for Electronic Arts' reputation in the gaming industry.
