"The Voice" Results and Recap 12/3/13 Top 5 Announced, Who Was Eliminated?

Last night, singing competition The Voice aired its latest episode and American voters sent Matthew Shuler of Team Christina Aguilera packing after his Monday night performances.

With only five contestants left, they will still have the help of iTunes sales bonuses, which multiplies a contestant's votes by five when their chosen single for that week makes it into the iTunes top 10. Also, they have the Instant Save, which allows voters to save one contestant in the bottom three by tweeting out their support and this week Shuler received neither of the advantages.

Shuler made it to the top 6 last week with the help of the Instant Save, but America thought differently about him last night. Voters chose to save James Wolpert of Team Adam Levine who was also in the bottom three. Shuler performed his rendition of Percy's Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman" and One Direction's "Story of my Life" during, which ultimately got him eliminated.

Will Champlin was the performer of the night with his rendition of Etta James' "At Last." Team Cee Lo Green is completely out of the competition, while Team Blake Shelton and Team Christina Aguilera are hanging on by a needle and thread only having one competitor each. Coach Adam chose wisely when selecting his team and still has three of his members standing.

You can check out Shuler's final performances down below and be sure to tune into The Voice Monday at 8 PM EST and Tuesday at 9 PM EST only on NBC. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
