NBC 81st Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony 2013 Musical Performance List Released 

 

NBC has a big line-up of celebrity performances for their 2013 Christmas in Rockefeller Center, which will air Wednesday, December 4 at 8 PM EST.

Major music names such as, Leona Lewis, Ashanti, Audra McDonald, Alauren Alaina, Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Babyface, Goo Goo Golla, Ariana Grande, Jewel, and The Rockets are all scheduled to put on performances during NBC's celebration.

NBC will celebrate the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree; a 75-year old, 76 foot Norway Spruce tree that weighs 12 tons and is 47 feet in diameter, live from the Rockefeller center in New York City during its 81st annual holiday event.

The tree will have more than 45,000 energy sufficient multi-colored LED lights hanging from its limbs and will be topped with a 9 ½ foot wife LED-lit Swarovski crystal star. After the lighting ceremony the tree will stay lit between 5:30 am to 11:30 pm.

Attending the ceremony is free for everyone, but attendees should get there early due to thousands of people being expected to attend for the performances.

Ashanti and Alaina will perform December 4 from 7 to 8 pm and their performance will be aired on select NBC stations. Other performances are listed below and have been pre-taped, with tickets already sold out for them all:
