'NBA 2K17' Release Date, News: Paul George On Standard Edition Cover; Potential Seventh Member To Be Unveiled

Along with the inclusion of Kyrie Irving in the 2K Sports' "NBA 2K17" roster, new details on the seventh member have surfaced.

The "NBA 2K17" roster's seventh member is assumed to be revealed this week, Movie News Guide has learned. As per the publication, rumors say that Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green, Oklahoma City Thunder's Russel Westbrook, Minnesota Timberwolves' Zach LaVine, and Orlando Magic's Aaron Gordon are four potential inclusions for the said roster. However, only one among them shall complete the lineup.

Previously, Irving is revealed as the sixth member of the "NBA 2K17" roster. On June 9, the people behind "NBA 2K17" tweeted a photo of the lineup, which features Irving, Oklahoma City Thunder power forward/ small forward Kevin Durant, Indiana Pacers' shooting guard/small forward Paul George, Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond, Chicago Bulls shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler, and Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns.

In caption, "NBA 2K17" wrote "Following a huge Game 3 Finals performance, @KyrieIrving is the latest reveal for #Team2K! Who's the last member?"

According to Christian Daily, George is set to be the cover star of "NBA 2K17" Standard Edition while Bryant is set to be the cover athlete for the Legend Edition and the Kobe Legend Gold Edition. As per the publication, the Standard Edition costs $59.99 and the Legend Edition is priced at $79.99. Legend Edition Gold costs $99.99. It is further revealed that those who pre-order the game will have 5,000 Virtual Currency and MyTEAM bundle, which covers three packs with a Paul George Free Agent card.

"NBA 2K17" is set to be released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows on Sept. 30.
