'NBA 2K16' Roster Update: Game Mirrors Actual-Life Incidents, Black Griffin’s Injury Changes Players’ Rating

"NBA 2K16" is set to be parallel to the actual NBA game, from Black Griffin's injury to the players' rating changes.

As per Christian Today, 2K Sports opted to make some adjustments to the game details, such as the changes applied to Los Angeles Clippers power forward Black Griffin, after his off-court injury.

Griffin's "Hands" rating dropped from 99 to 77, which is reportedly link to a heated conflict with a team staff member, according to Fox Sports. As per the publication, the argument between the two led to the injuries, with the staff member having multiple face injuries and Griffin having a fracture in his right hand.

According to Design and Trend, Golden State Warrior's Steph Curry's rating went up to 96 and now stands as the highest rated player. LeBron James is the game's second highest-rated player, with an overall 94 rating.

The following players follow: Chris Paul (90), Kyle Lowry (89), DeMar DeRozan (87), Isiah Thomas (86), Kemba Walker (84), Al Horford (83), Khris Middleton (82), and Rudy Gobert (80).

Players who have declining ratings include James (94), John Wall (89), Klay Thompson (85), Dirk Nowitzi (84), LaMArcus Aldridge (84), Nikola Vicevic (82), Tyreke Evans (82), Danilo Gallinari (81), Giannis Antetokounmpo (81), Kevin Love (81), and Zach Randolph (81).

In other news, 2K Sports also unveiled a fifth patch for "NBA 2K16," which is now accessible on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

According to 2K Sports' Facebook account, the patch fixed an issue where users were able to equip mascot costumes while not having the proper rep level in MyPARK. Also, it fixed an issue that involves unwanted ankle breaker reactions on defenders who were standing in good defensive stance.

Along with the changes to the roster, the patch is reportedly for the forthcoming Road To The Finals 2K Pro-Am tournament.
