Up-and-coming Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Natasha Phillips on Monday independently released her latest single, "Run To You," on Christian AC and Christian CHR/Hot AC-formatted radio outlets. The new single will be available for downloading and streaming on Aug. 3 and is available for pre-order now.
"Run To You," is the follow up to her 2015 single, "I'll Worship You," produced by Sean Hill who also helped co-write the song, peaking at No. 2 on the Christian Radio Chart. The collaboration with Hill helped changed the trajectory of Phillips' career, which took a detour after she says she became the victim of a bad business deal following the release of her 2012 song "More Of You," a single which received significant airplay.
Speaking about her work with Hill, she recalls how effortlessly her 2015 single came about, "With the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we were able to write 'I'll Worship You' in only 15 minutes." Now, Phillips says she is excited to share new music with her listeners.
"After years of hard work, prayer and trust in God, my ministry is finally coming to fruition," Phillips says. "At times, it may have seemed like forever, but I know this is the exact moment in time for God to make it great."
Phillips says she first felt the call of the Lord tugging at her heart in 2008 when she wrote a song titled, "Nobody Can Do You like Jesus." The song marked the beginning of the singer-songwriter's journey in music ministry, which in recent years has started to gain traction as Philipps continues to write songs and work with various producers.
"Run To You" is available for pre-order everywhere now ahead of its Aug. 3 release, including services such as iTunes.
