Natalie Grant's 'It Takes A Church' Renewed for Second Season on GSN in 2015

Natalie Grant's 'It Takes A Church' has been confirmed for a second season on the GSN channel for 2015.

"So excited to be back with It Takes A Church for a second season," Grant said in a release, "I'm honored to be a part of this sweet, family-friendly show, and love watching church congregations acknowledge their single members in a whole new way!"

The show's description reads, "Each week, one unsuspecting single who has a desire to find a mate, is surprised to learn that their church is coming together to help them find love, led by their own Pastor, who speaks to the situation and gives advice on the potential suitors."

The show also partnered with Christian Mingle to further provide service for Christian singles.

"The partnership provides ChristianMingle with in-show integration throughout the season; plus all of the daters who are not ultimately chosen will receive annual memberships to the dating service," said a press release, "In addition, GSN will produce a custom short form micro-series for ChristianMingle that will air as interstitials throughout the commercial breaks of the show."

'It Takes A Church' premiered on GSN, June 5.

Grant also received four Dove Award nominations this year for her hit album Hurricane.

In addition to this, Grant worked on a documentary about sex trafficking, called 'In Plain Sight'. The film will be out on September 18.

"The reality is that children are being ravaged day in and day out. If you have a heart beating on the inside of you, I don't understand how this couldn't be important to you," said Grant in a press release.
