In 'Nasville' Season 3 Episode 16 titled 'I Can't Keep Away From You,' fans will finally see Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) together, but not essentially in the manner Deacon wanted.

The previous episode of the musical drama television series showed Rayna discovering that Deacon is suffering from liver cancer and following a dramatic slap, Rayna falls into his lap. All these suggested that Rayna may possibly return to Deacon for good, but in the upcoming episode Deacon might find this troubling.

According to IB Times, in 'I Can't Keep Away From You,' Rayna will be making an effort to give Deacon the motivation he requires and feel sorry for him, but it may backfire. The official synopsis of 'Nashville' Season 3 Episode 16 teases, "Rayna refuses to let Deacon wallow in his condition, but her support only frustrates him and pushes him away."

It seems that this may create yet another obstacle in Deacon and Rayna's relationship. In fact, fans will at least hope that Rayna doesn't listen to her dejected ex-partner.

Meanwhile, Scarlett (Clare Bowen), Deacon's niece, might prove to be a disturbance for the ill singer. Scarlett's band along with Gunnar (Sam Palladio) and Avery (Jonathan Jackson) are preparing for Rascal Flatts' opening act on tour, but the former's nerves could get the best of her. According to the synopsis, Scarlett will be confronting stage fright again when "her past public meltdown haunts her on social media."

In 'Nashville' Season 2, Scarlett had a breakdown on stage and finished in hysterics trying to hide under the piano. She's come a long way since then, but it remains to be seen if her memory can hold her back.

In the meantime, Layla (Aubrey Peeples) will be seen working on re-branding herself. However, she will be distracted by Jeff (Oliver Hudson) and it appears that they are continuing to avoid labels for their relationship that sends Layla "into a state of confusion."

Laya's former husband Will (Chris Carmack) will be also be seen equally confused, as his writing partner Kevin (Kyle Dean Massey) disappears. According to the synopsis, "Will is enjoying his new writing partner Kevin, but hits a bump in the road when Kevin is mysteriously no longer available."

'Nashville' Season 3 Episode 16, titled 'I Can't Keep Away From You,' will air on Wednesday, April 1, at 10 pm EDT on ABC.
