'Mr. Robot' Season 3 Spoilers: Series Creators Say Fans Should Look Out For Leon In Third Season

Fans of "Mr. Robot" are excited to know what is in store for Elliot when season 3 premieres.

At the New York Comic Con, fans asked "Mr. Robot" creators Sam Esmail and Courtney Looney if Elliot will be juiced up in the upcoming season. Esmail and Looney were both present at the Comic Con panel about "Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow," a book they wrote to recount Elliot's time behind bars.

"I always knew this from the get go, but I know Leon is definitely one to look out for in season 3," said Esmail, via iDigitalTimes.

It can be recalled that season 2 ended with a huge cliffhanger involving Leon. In the season finale, he drove up to Fry's Electronics where Trenton and Mobley now work as they try to escape the FBI. While the two were discussing "fixing" the 5/9 hack, Leon arrived, came up to them and asked, "Do you have time?"

In season 2, Leon played a huge role during Elliot's time in jail. "Mr. Robot: Red Wheelbarrow" is expected to dig deeper into his friendship with Elliot and the moments they have spent in jail aside from eating meals and watching basketball together. It will also give fans some hints about Leon's involvement with the Dark Army.

Sam Esmail confirmed that the book offers some spoilers for "Mr. Robot" season 3. It is set for release on November 1. Meanwhile, the USA Network has yet to announce the official premiere date of "Mr. Robot" season 3.
