'Mr. Robot' Season 2 Premiere Date, News: Next Season Will Address Privacy, Data Encryption Issues?

In line with hacks involving artificial intelligence, it has been revealed that "Mr Robot" season 2 is set to address issued of privacy and data encryption.

In his interview with Variety, "Mr. Robot" creator Sam Esmail said that what was weird was they were really going into thematically talking a lot about encryption and privacy, which he thought was a really vital issue that they were really going to get into in the next ten years or so.

According to Esmail, it was not something that he thought people really understood the nuances of, but it was going to be interesting public discourse about it, since it really brought up the concept of the rights to privacy.

The first season's storyline saw the realm of Soney and Ashley Madison hacks and the second season's story arc is set to cover related matters, according to Screen Rant. In the same interview, Esmail confirmed that fans would be able to get answers to unanswered questions in the first season.

As per Esmail, Elliott had committed a crime in the first season and people were going to see its ramifications in the second season. He added that from the introduction of the law enforcement, the second season opens a whole new dimension for Elliott and Mr. Robot, along with an internal struggle that they had to reconcile.

Along with privacy and data encryption issues, "Mr. Robot's" storylines have stretched with advanced debates revolving around ethics and greed in corporations, which progressively brings injustice to the allocation of economy in various business sects.

The premiere date of "Mr. Robot" season 2 is set to be released by June or July 2016.
