Mosaic MSC Debuts ‘Glory & Wonder’ On September 16

Mosaic MSC, the worship group from Los Angeles-based Mosaic church, is set to debut its single "Glory & Wonder" on Sept. 16 in the hopes of sparking inspiration to listeners to come back to Jesus.

Mariah McManus, daughter of Mosaic Pastor Erwan McManus, said that music has elevated their church to another level, from just a place of worship into a community.

"When people hear the songs we're writing, they're so excited about being able to play them at their churches," she said in a press release. "Knowing that, we write with those people in mind. We're a young band and a young church but we have become passionate about writing songs that all churches and types of people can identify with.

She recounted that they tried many times to produce an album, but then they realized that they are not ready to share their voice. Or as she explained it, their overall effort was very good but the final product of the music writing process "was always pretty bad."

Also, Los Angeles is unique in the sense that the congregation constantly changes, with people moving from one place to another. And that also factored into why Mosaic MSC could not record songs earlier.

Erwan, meanwhile, said that the music of Mosaic MSC, including the "Glory & Wonder," "will be like kerosene igniting a fire in the hearts of millions across the world."

Ultimately, he said, their main goal is to connect people to God.

"We hope that the music of MSC will be a gift to the church and a light to the world," he added.
