F1 legend Michael Schumacher awoke from his medically induced coma in June, and has since been transferred to Lausanne hospital in Switzerland. The skiing accident that caused his severe injuries happened about a year ago, and recent reports claim he's on the road to recovery.

Since he was moved to a medical facility to continue his treatment, Michael Schumacher has not made as much progress. As it stands, he still needs the around-the-clock patient care.

According to Bunte.de, the Formula One racer's current health condition has been improving, however, at a very slow pace. "He was dependent around-the-cock for assistance...nobody is prepared to how long it takes, until all his motor and language skills are restored and when his memories will return." The site also mentioned that there is a possibility that Schumacher is going to return to his home for Christmas, which would mark a year after his traumatic skiing accident.

On a side note, Schumacher's family wants privacy about his health condition and treatment.

Stefano Demoenicali, Schumacher's former boss, said, "I know that we all hope that this terrible waiting will end in the best way. Unfortunately, we just have to wait," he said.
