Award winning singer songwriter Michael Buble sang popular Christian song "Hold Me" by newcomer Jamie Grace backstage at his world tour, and posted the video on Facebook.

"This dressing room warm up has been requested by SO many followers that we couldn't list you all! But you know who you are ; ) "Hold Me" by @jamiegraceh !!" he wrote along with a 17 second clip of himself and his band playing an acoustic version of the catchy tune.

He later tweeted the young Christian pop star to let her know about her relentless supporters.

The Georgia native, overjoyed by Buble's choice to cover her song, re-shared the video with all of her fans and wrote, "Oh my goodness!! @michaelbuble singing Hold Me!! Thanks to his team and everyone who requested it. This is so cool!!! They sound better then the original!! Haha."

Buble although not an overt Christian by admission has stated in previous interviews that he is convinced it was divine intervention that skyrocketed him into fame. In 2009 during an Associated Press interview he revealed that he slept with his Bible every night and grew up praying to become a singer.

The Grammy-winning hit maker confessed that he prayed daily his talents would be recognized around the world. He went on to say that his chart-topping success was certainly brought into fruition because of his prayers.

Although he was embarrassed to talk about it and stated that God can mean whatever anyone wanted it to mean, He said, "When I was a kid I definitely put it out there to the universe and to my God and I prayed that it would happen and it's obvious that it worked."

Perhaps Buble listening and singing Graces' Christian song for his warm up is an indication that he still identifies with the Christian faith.
