Marla Sokoloff New Baby News: 'Full House' Actress Welcomes Second Baby Girl

Marla Sokoloff, 34, welcomed her second daughter into the world on Friday, March 13; a rep for the actress confirmed it for various media sources throughout the weekend.

"Someone decided to join the world just a wee bit early. She couldn't wait to meet us. We are so in love!" said Sokoloff in a small interview with People.

Along with Sokoloff, her older daughter Elliott Ann, 3, and her husband, composer Alec Puro were there with her to welcome their new daughter into the world.

Olive Mae was born six weeks early in Los Angeles, weighing 4 lbs, 10 oz. and measuring 18 inches long. While she and her mother are healthy, the newborn will remain in the NICU for the time being.

Sokoloff has a family blog in which she writes on frequently. She wrote about motherhood a few months ago, "There is so much beauty and excitement that's about to come by way," she said, "And I'm truly feeling way more blessed and lucky than I could have ever dreamed of."

Sokoloff also said in her blog that Elliotte has been preparing for her younger sister throughout the month. She said, "Elliotte's excitement for the new baby has not waned at all and I cannot wait for her to meet her new baby SISTER!"

"We are knee deep in princesses and tea parties over here so I consider myself an expert on the color pink and all that is entails," Sokoloff added.

Sokoloff is most known for he TV roles as Gia in the '90s sitcom "Full House" and Lucy Hatcher in "The Practice." She also starred in films The Baby-Sitters Club, Dude, Where's My Car? And Sugar and Spice.
