Maria Sharapova and Boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov Break Up Over Twitter? Couple Unfollow Each Other After Losses

Along with their losses at the U.S. Open this year, Maria Sharapova and her boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov seem to be losing a little magic in their love life as well. Apparently, following the championship tennis tournament this year, the couple unfollowed each other over Twitter.

Sharapova lost during the 4th round versus Caroline Wozniacki on August 31 while Dimitrov lost in the 4th round as well, to Gael Monfils on September 2.

According to Tennis World, the two unfollowed each other on Twitter, which could be a big indication that the two are heading towards splitsville in their relationship. This is not the first time break up rumors have surfaced about the pair. The couple has been dating since last year and they have had a few break up rumors swarm them in the past.

On that note, Fashion&Style reports that they have confirmed that the professional tennis couple are really broken up this time. However, it seems like Dimitrov is still following Sharapova's business called "Sugarpova," which leads some fans to believe that there's still hope for the two.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Dimitrov talked about the first time he saw his now ex-girlfriend when he was just 14-years-old at the Staples Center.

"I was the initiator, pretty much," he admitted, "I sent her a funny email and she replied, and back and forth, and that was it."

"She is very strong-minded and knows what she wants," he said, "It's why she's the best at what she does."

As it stands, the couple has not said anything about their break up on Twitter.
