Pacquiao vs Bradley 2: Pac-Man Celebrates Regaining WBO Welterweight Championship by Reading the Bible

Future HOF boxer Manny Pacquiao finally got redemption against Timothy Bradley in a championship bout two days ago at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. As a result, "Pac Man" regained the WBO welterweight championship in the rematch to the "Perfect Storm" boxing match back in 2012. Pacquiao's record is now 56-5-2 after regaining the title that eluded him almost two years ago.

"I knew I had to do more in this fight than I did in the last fight," said Pacquiao after the match on Saturday night on HBO.

Previously, Pacquiao lost to the World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Bradley in their first match nearly two years ago. As a result, Pacquiao's impressive seven year undefeated streak ended that night.

Now in 2014, Pacquiao is the WBO welterweight champion. As a result, Bradley is no longer undefeated in his professional boxing career. Bradley has a 31-1 record so far in his ten years as a professional boxer.

"I have no excuses. Stuff happens. I got nothing to say about it. "ŽYou can't say nothing against Manny," said Bradley to reporters after losing the WBO. "I lost to one of the best fighters in the world. Manny fought his heart out."

After the fight against Bradley on Saturday, the new WBO welterweight champion celebrated his victory by reading the Bible and singing Gospel songs in his hotel room with his fellow Filipinos. The legendary fighter also played the piano while his minster had a prayer service in his suite for over an hour.

"It means a lot," said Pacquiao to USA Today yesterday. "It's really important to have these people around me. They all flew in from the Philippines to watch the fight. They're going home happy."
