Macbook Pro 2016 Release Date, Specs, Latest Rumors: Apple’s Laptop Line Set For March 21 Launch

In line with the release of Apple's MacBook Pro, it has been revealed that the device is going to be released this month.

According to MacWorld, Apple's MacBook lineups are set to be released with a new MacBook iteration on Mar. 21. As per the publication, the Cupertino-based company will lay down the foundation of its laptop product line with the said iteration, since it has already been a year after it released its latest MacBook.

The publication added that a new 12-inch MacBook is set to appear on Mar. 21, which is set to happen should Apple want to push its MacBook lineup releases in 2016.

As per Christian Today, the 12-inch MacBook possesses some impressive specifications, which include new design improvements and upgrades in its interior features, such as the newest Intel processors and sixth generation chipsets and Skylake architecture.

Aside from the 12-inch variant, the MacBook Pro 2016 also has a 13-inc variant, which features a retina display. According to Apple's official website, the device has a 2.7 to 2.9 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 Processor, which depends on the internal storage options, available as 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB.

The 13-inch MacBook pro also features an 8GB 1866MHz LPDDR3 memory, Intel Iris Graphics 6100, built-in battery that can last up to 10 hours, and a Force Touch trackpad.

For MacBook users who prefer a larger screen size, Apple is also set to release a 15-inch variant with retina display. It features a 2.2GHz to 2.5 GHz processor, depending if the variant has 256GB or 512GB storage.

The device also has a 16GB 1600MHz memory, Turbo Boost of up to 3.4GHz, built-in battery of up to nine hours, and a Force Touch trackpad. The 256GB variant also features an Intel Iris Pro Graphics while the 512GB variant includes AMD Radeo R9 M370X with 2GB GDDR5 memory.

For the time being, the exact release date is yet to be revealed.
