New details on the release date of the much anticipated Apple MacBook Air 2016 have resurfaced.

The MacBook Air 2016 is set to be released at the WWDC 2016 in June, Macworld UK has learned. As per the publication, there is also a possibility that the Cupertino-based company will release its new MacBooks sooner than the said month because fans and users believe that the firm has been known to slip away product information at a certain point.

As per the publication, the WWDC in June is the most feasible release date for the MacBook Air 2016, which was expected to be released at Apple's Spring event back in March. However, a previous rumor from trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo indicated that Apple's new MacBooks are set to arrive in the fourth quarter of 2016; thus, fans and users may expect the device to surface in July to September.

The MacBook Air 2016 is viewed as a vital refresh of the Air line-up in the middle of 2016, according to Economic Daily News, as cited by Tech Radar. As per the publication, the laptop is set to be considerably thinner and lighter that Apple's existing models and is set to have USB-C, new batteries, along with Intel Skylake processors.

When it comes to Intel's Skylake processors, the publication noted that they are capable of giving power to a MacBook Air 10 to 20 percent faster than the Broadwell processor, in addition to the 34 percent faster graphics. Skylake also lets the device last an hour longer than the latter, as per Tech RadarIn terms of price, the MacBook Air is expected to begin at $899 for the 11-inch model and $999 for the 13-inch model.

Overall, Apple's MacBook Air 2016 is assumed to be out in June.
