"Longmire" season 6 has not been confirmed yet, but fans remain hopeful that Netflix will not disappoint them. Just recently, the network announced that the fifth season of the drama will be available for binge watching on Netflix while they wait for updates on the next season.

Based on the "Walt Longmire Mysteries" books by Craig Johnson, "Longmire" has become one of the most loved shows on Netflix. This is the reason why fans continue to hope that season 5 was not yet the end for the series.

While the network has not yet given the green light for a new season, there are speculations that season 6 will happen, especially considering the loose ends created in season 5.

Aside from the fans of the series, the cast and crew of the drama are also looking forward to another season.

Recently, "Longmire" actors Robert Taylor and Craig Johnson said that a sixth season is currently being developed so fans of the series no longer need to worry about cancellation. Since they made the statement, there have been speculations that the new season will come after "Bloodline," which will close up after the completion of its third season.

According to rumors, season 6 will see Walt and Vic come together as a couple. It can be recalled that in season 5, there was apparent romantic tension between the two characters, but they still did not end up together. Fans hope that season 6 will rectify this.

As of this writing, Netflix has not neither confirmed nor denied the renewal of the series.
