"Legends of Tomorrow" is taking a two-week break to make way for the celebration of the annual Thanksgiving week. Although the producers of the series have postponed episode 7, they have released a two-minute trailer for the new episode to keep fans pumped up until its return.
The trailer opens with an alien ship coming to the Earth. Unknown to the heroes, some of the aliens have already reached the ground prior to the crash.
The aliens, called the Dominators, came to Earth with a purpose: To eliminate the entire human race. This invasion will pave the way for the biggest crossover on the CW as the superheroes need to team up in order to annihilate the Dominators.
In the previous episode of "The Flash," Barry was the first one to witness the crash and investigate on the wrecked alien ship. When he realized he could not handle the Dominators all by himself, he decided to call for help.
When the speedster called on Felicity for help, Felicity contacted the rest of the superheroes for backup. In the episode, Green Arrow, Supergirl and the heroes from "Legends of Tomorrow" came together to face the aliens.
This coming together of the superheroes will be the first time that they will take in hand such an enormous threat to the world. The producers of the series revealed that the challenge won't come easy for them and that one of the superheroes might even perish.
Here is the synopsis for the episode:
"After learning the Dominators' plan for the world, the Legends must work together with The Flash, Supergirl and Green Arrow to kill them once and for all. Meanwhile, Stein figures out, with the help of others, how the team can terminate the Dominators, but is distracted by the aberration he realizes he created in 1987."
"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 airs every Thursday on The CW.
