Legend of Korra Season 3 Spoilers: Release Date Coming Later in 2014, New Trailer Video Launched

Legend of Korra, the succeeding television serial to the much beloved Avatar: The Last Airbender, will have its third season or 'Book' release date sometime in 2014, according to various reports.

The third book's preview trailer and title, "Change," have been released (see below), giving a surprising sneak-peak into some possible new, as well as expected, facets of Korra's world.

The trailer begins with the main character and protagonist of the series entering the "Avatar state," a supercharged state where an Avatar can access all of the knowledge and power of past Avatars. It also features some footage of Korra taking on a member of The Order of the White Lotus, and Tenzin using his bending powers against an unidentified assailant.

If you look closely at the 13 second trailer aired in the Netherlands, you can see a split-second image of what appears a fully-grown, majestic dragon spreading its wings in front of an ordinary human being. Where did this dragon come from?

There is some speculation on this subject. We know that a certain Avatar, Avatar Roku, possessed a fire-breathing lizard pet, similar to Aang's Appa. We also know that Aang and Zuko allegedly uncovered the last dragons when they sought the origin for firebending. So, is it possible that one of these dragons existed without anyone knowing it?

And of course dragons may just be there because the mystical/spiritual and physical worlds are now one.

Whatever the reason, it is clear that Book three of the Legend of Korra will be an exciting season, one that will keep its devoted viewers guessing:
