Legend Of Korra Book 3 Spoilers: Varrick to Become Big Villain?

Book 3 for the Legend of Korra has been out for a while and spoilers have been roaming around the Internet. The book titled "Change" was seen to have the best roster of villains among the trilogy and the cartoon series might see that as well.

Of those villains, there's Zaheer, Ghazan, Ming-Hua, and P'Li who are among the toughest of villains that the series has ever seen. Even with the four listed as the main bad guys, viewers and followers might be forgetting about an antagonist who might secretly be evil, a certain character named Varrick.

Varrick may just be a salesman but in season 2 of the Legend of Korra, he was constantly in the company of the bad guys. His company was not in any way for the sake of just being evil, Varrick was mostly in it for the money.

The last time Varrick was seen in the series was in Republic City. However, for some reason, he pops back up in the metal city Zaofu in season 3. The series isn't one to bring back characters into the show for no absolute reason, and maybe Varrick's return forebodes something major in the plot.

Most of the villains in the show weren't villains just for the sake of villainy. Most of them had intentions that the people could understand. Amon for example was a villain but his idea for equality was understood by the people of Republic City.

Unalaq's schemes were more 'evil' per se but it was in the pursuit of returning things to the way they were in the past.

Varrick's pursuits however, only had one motive; money. Could his pursuit of more wealth become a path towards the darker side of being a villain?
