The Los Angeles Clippers (57-25) will face off against the Golden State Warriors (51-31) at the Staples Center on Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles as the NBA 2014 Playoffs get started this weekend.

The Clippers will be the big favorites for Saturday night's game because they have the third best record in the NBA this season. The Clippers recently lost to the Portland Trailblazers by the final score of 110-104 on Wednesday night.

Jamal Crawford totaled 34 points and 8 assists in a losing effort for the Clippers two nights ago. The Clippers are looking to win their first ever championship this year.

"We wanted to win. I hope I didn't send the wrong message to you guys that because we sent guys home we weren't going to play hard and play to win," said Clippers head coach Doc Rivers to reporters after Wednesday's game. "We want to win the game. It's a competition no matter who is out on the floor."

The Warriors are looking to upset the Clippers on the road tomorrow afternoon when the two teams battle each other in the first round of the playoffs. They defeated the Denver Nuggets by the final score of 116-112 Wednesday night in the final game of the season. Jordan Crawford scored 41 points to ignite the Warriors to the victory two nights ago.

Now the Warriors look to defeat the championship caliber behemoths, the Clippers on Saturday afternoon.

"The guys did what they had to do to get the win, which is not easy on a night where some people say it's not worth it, you really don't have to play hard," said Warriors point guard Steve Blake to reporters after the game. "Guys played a lot of minutes that they usually don't get, so they got a little bit winded.
