Although "Twilight' stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have broken up, Stewart continues to show that she still cares for her ex-boyfriend and is ready to vouch for him when it comes to his career.

Recently, the actress went out of her way to help Pattinson with his acting career and as a result, he will be co-starring opposite Robert De Niro and Rachel Weisz in the film "Idol's Eye'. The film will be directed by Olivier Assayas, who worked with Stewart in "Clouds of Sils Maria'.

According to a source from Hollywoodlife.com, "Kristen talked to Olivier nonstop about how committed Rob is an actor and as a result he basically got the role in his pocket. Kristen knew how much he wanted to work with Bobby [Robert De Niro]."

It has been previously reported that the ex-couple has remained friends despite their breakup, and are keeping in touch with each other. A source said that "She [Stewart] is still talking to Rob. They will always have a strong connection especially on a soul level. They are kindred spirits and have so much respect for each other."

Though reports of Pattinson going out with other girls have been making the rounds on the Internet, an insider revealed that "[Kristen's] not dating anyone and she likes it that way for the time being. She's too busy and has her whole future ahead of her."

Also, they have avoided each other at several occasions, but there is a possibility that the two may reunite again at the Toronto International Film Festival where Stewart's "Still Alice' and Pattinson's "Maps to the Stars' will be presented.
