Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence Boyfriend Nicholas Hoult Talk On-Screen Chemistry and New Film ‘Equals’

Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart appeared at a press conference in Japan while filming for their new movie, 'Equals', and rumors have spread that the two have undeniable chemistry.

The 'X-Men' actor and the 'Twilight' actress announced during the press conference that the production stage of their indie sci-fi film is about to start.

When one of the reporters asked Stewart in regards to how she felt about her co-star, the actress jokingly said that she couldn't stand him.

Hoult also commented on the topic by saying, "It's always a weird position to be put in any film where the director chooses two people and is saying 'Hey, potentially in this world I'm creating you two could fall in love.'"

The movie is set in the future where humans no longer feel emotions like love, envy or anger. However, a disease called SOS (Switch On Syndrome) began affecting some citizens causing them to feel the emotions that have long been eliminated from their systems.

Hoult's character Silas became infected with SOS and he became close to Nia, the character played by Stewart.

During the press conference, Hoult was asked if he would want to live in a world void of emotions. The actor said that though it would be easier to live life with no emotions to get in the way "I like to feel everything, take the highs and the lows," he said.

Stewart said she wasn't afraid of the "feels," when she was asked if she would choose a life sans emotions. The actress said that life should be a balance of the head and the heart.

"Every thought or articulated emotion starts in shapes and colors and putting your finger on that is cool, but it's not necessary," Stewart said.

'Equals' will continue to film in Japan and Singapore. The movie is expected to be released in 2015.
