Kelontae Gavin Drops Debut Album 'The Higher Experience' This Friday; Currently On 16-City Tour

Acclaimed 19-year old singer Kelontae Gavin who graduated high school last year is gearing up to release his debut album The Higher Experience this Friday, April 27. The 11-track project is already available for pre-order and includes, among others, the single "No Ordinary Worship," which upon release entered the Top 30 on Billboard's Gospel Airplay chart.

This multi-faceted millennial worship leader delivers a solid and commanding performance on "No Ordinary Worship," which, according to a press release, "boasts a thunderous bass line, incomparable vocal technique and a Heaven-sent message of divine worship."

The Higher Experience was recorded live at Fresh Start Church in Duluth, Ga., in 2017, and features a guest appearance by BET's Sunday Best winner Geoffrey Golden and is produced by TedyP and Marquis Boone. Pre-orders of the album includes three instant gratification tracks available for immediate download, "Higher," "I Won't Complain," and "No Ordinary Worship."

The young artist recently embarked on the 16-city "The Higher Experience Crusade Tour" in support of his upcoming album. Having already made stops in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Alabama, the tour wraps May 18 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

"The Higher Experience Crusade Tour" will consist of press, radio and church stops including appearance on top-tier digital, TV and nationally syndicated radio platforms including BET.com, Good Day Dallas, TV One's Sister Circle, Atlanta & Co., CBN News Studio 5, CBN's Turning Point International, Arise TV, WACH Fox 57 and WLTX 19 in Columbia, SC; The Willie Moore, Jr. Show, The Nightly Spirit w/ Darlene McCoy and Sirius XM Radio among more.
