Justin Timberlake has had one great year with the release of his double album The 20/20 Experience and is expected to drop part two of the album September 30. Timberlake also performed at MTV's VMAs last week where he and former band mates came together for an NSync reunion, but that isn't all Timberlake has brewing. He is starring in the upcoming movie release Runner Runner alongside Ben Affleck and Gemma Arterton.

Directed by Brad Furman and produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, Runner Runner is a crime, thriller, drama about a Princeton student Richie (Justin Timberlake) who is hustled out of his tuition money after playing online poker. Richie finds out the site is ran from a remote island in Costa Rica and goes to the island to confront the owner of the website, Ivan Block (Ben Affleck). Ivan easily manipulates Richie into becoming his understudy and right hand man, but Richie is faced with the tough decision of helping the FBI bring Ivan down or helping save his partner in crime. The film is said to be one of J.T's best on screen performances yet.

With the entire Batman backlash Affleck has been receiving in the past weeks, this co-star role is something that may help him gain support for his upcoming role as Batman.

Filming for the movie took place in Costa Rica and of course at Princeton University. Runner Runner will be released in theaters October 4 in the U.S. View the trailer for the movie down below and stay tuned for more news and updates.
