Justin Bieber's Christian Roots Showing Again? Singer Appears in Rapper's Music Video for 'The Pledge' to Speak on Christ's Forgiveness (VIDEO)

Justin Bieber recently appeared in a Christian rapper's new music video, where he is seen talking about his faith.

Brandon Burke's "The Pledge" features a Bieber cameo which is sure to boost the relatively unknown rapper's YouTube hits because of the singer's star power.

"God loved the world so much he gave up his own son, right? Imagine, like, someone killing your son... These are your people, right? It's like, 'How are you killing my son? That's my son!' It's gonna be hard for you to forgive," Bieber said as he shared his thoughts on forgiveness and God's grace. "God forgave everyone and they killed his son. That shows how much grace God has."

The video, released a couple of weeks ago has a noble goal. It is asking people to stand up for God, and make a pledge.

"Our goal through the #iPledge campaign is to raise 1 million Pledges for God. We are asking that you make a Stand for who you are and what you believe in! What do you Pledge? This campaign is in association with 'The Pledge', the first single from B. (Brandon Burke) Available on iTunes, CD Baby, GooglePlay, Amazon and More! Also on our website www.ggforgod.com. Special shoutout to lil bro Justin Bieber for his love, support, and words of insight," reads the description in the video.

"The Pledge" speaks of the America that exists today, devoid of God, and living in sin. Brandon Burke is trying to make the point of bringing the "One Nation Under God" motto back to America.

The video quotes the Bible verse: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)
