'Justice League' Cast News: Zack Snyder Leaks Photo of Ben Affleck in New Batman Costume

Director Zack Snyder released a photo revealing Batman portrayer Ben Affleck in his new Batman outfit. The outfit is a modified version of his "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" costume with its added armor, mech gear and goggles.

The costume design work on the film is outstanding, and many of the features of the outfit hint at particular elements of the upcoming film. Aside from the armor and added mech to the arm, the cowl has also been modified in some ways beside the goggles. The difference in the ears and the scowl on the forehead are also noticeable.

While Affleck's costume is undeniably terrific, there is more to the photo that makes it even more controversial. The photo seems to suggest that the villain Deathstroke is likely to appear in "Justice League."

Two weeks ago, Ben Affleck confirmed via a video he posted online that Deathstroke would be one of the antagonists in the Batman standalone film. The photo of Batman's new tactical costume features the Batmobile, some smoke, lights, and metal support structures along the wall. Since the photo of Joe Manganiello in Deathstroke costume also features the same surroundings, there are speculations that there is a scene in the upcoming "Justice League" movie where Batman and Deathstroke will cross paths.

However, it is also possible that they simply had the location set up for shooting and decided to grab some footage of Manganiello in his Deathstroke costume for fun. While these are just speculations, they are worth considering.

"Justice League" hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
