‘Jurassic World’ Release Date, Trailer Teaser Video Confirmed for November 27, 2014

Fans of the 'Jurassic Park' series of films will be excited to learn that the upcoming film, 'Jurassic World' will be releasing its first official trailer on Thursday.

A video clip from Telegraph has announced that the full trailer will first be released on Thursday, following the screening of the Thanksgiving American football game on NBC before being released elsewhere.

Universal Pictures also released the 15-second teaser trailer on their official YouTube channel. The trailer contains the words "The park is open. Trailer premiere Friday," indicating that after the NBC premiere, they will be also be posting it official on their site.

'Jurassic World', which is set 22 years after the previous film, will show the opening of a new dinosaur theme park on the Isla Nubar. There are protective pods that allow visitors to roam the grounds among the dinosaurs, and allow scientists to study the prehistoric creatures in their native habitat.

Director Colin Trevorrow also talked about the plot during an exclusive interview with Slash Films back in May.

"Jurassic World takes place in a fully functional park on Isla Nublar," he said, "It sees more than 20,000 visitors every day. You arrive by ferry from Costa Rica. It has elements of a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park. There is a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife and a golf course. And there are dinosaurs."

The release of the teaser trailer follows the one other teaser released by Universal Pictures Brazil on its official Facebook page.

The video was also captioned with the words "Algo grande está chegando... Trailer de #"ŽJurassicWorld? na próxima sexta-feira!," which translates to "Something big is coming... #JurrasicWorld trailer next Friday."

'Jurassic World' is the fourth film in the 'Jurassic Park' franchise. It will be directed by Trevorrow, and written by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, and stars Chris Pratt as Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire. They will be joined by Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, David Oyelowo, Brandon Richardson, Vincent D'Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy and more.

'Jurassic World' will be released in theaters on June 12, 2015, with the official trailer set to be released on Thursday.
