Julianne Moore Cast as President Alma Coin in 'Hunger Games Mockingjay" Parts 1 and 2 / "Catching Fire" in Theaters November 22 [TRAILER]

Hunger Games fans, how do you feel about Julianne Moore being cast as President Alma Coin in Hunger Games Mockingjay? Well regardless, Moore was just confirmed for the role. Announced by the movie's distributors, Moore will join the cast for the third and fourth installments of the franchise.

Move over Miley Cyrus. It looks like your former fiancé Liam Hemsworth will share some screen time with the Children of Men actress.

But is Moore the right person to play the manipulative President? Moore has proven her acting chops in nearly every role she's been cast in, and has even played a President before. Her performance in Game Change, opposite fellow Hunger Games star Woody Harrelson, should provide some experience for her Mockingjay role.

Here's how Katniss Everdeen describes Alma Coin in the book. You think this fits Julianne Moore?

"She's fifty or so, with gray hair that falls in an unbroken sheet to her shoulders. I'm somewhat fascinated by her hair, since it's so uniform, so without a fall, a wisp, even a split end. Her eyes are gray, but not like those of people from the Seam. They're very pale, as if almost all the color has been sucked out of them. The color of slush that you wish would melt away."

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is in theaters November 22, 2013.
