Josh Duggar Scandal Update: One Victim Comes Forward

Josh Duggar's worst nightmare is becoming realized. Just when he began to put his molestation scandal and its repercussions behind him, the TLC star may have to go to court to face off with one of the women that he molested in his teenage years.

The victim is apparently very upset that she has had to relive the horrible events that took place and is even more upset the the Duggar family is trying to minimize the pain that he put her through.

An insider has reported to InTouch magazine that Josh and his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, will be "forced to reveal in court all the details about the scandal they have been covering up."

The insider goes on to discuss the possibility of a lawsuit. "I have heard a [nonfamily] victim is preparing to sue," says the source. "This whole sordid affair with Josh rattled a lot of people, including the victim, who has to relive this nightmare all over again after watching Josh's parents go on TV and whitewash what happened."

This is a reference to members of the Duggar family appearing on Fox News and telling the public to move past the scandal as they have done themselves.

"It is not uncommon for a victim to come forward years after the abuse has taken place," continued the insider.

"She may have repressed it or processed it in her own way, but Josh's public admission that he did something wrong -- and how Jim Bob and Michelle handled everything on TV -- surely had to affect her."
