John Legend is known for making the hearts of women melt with his love songs. His newest video for "You & I (Nobody In The World)" leaves some fans praising Legend, while others sit displeased with the singer's inclusion of a transgendered actor in the video.

The "You & I (Nobody In The World)" video was surely meant to bring out the emotion in every one for the women in their lives. Women of all races, sizes, young, old, athletes, special needs, cancer survivors, mothers, expecting mothers, wives, straight, and even gay women appear in Legend's new video.

The emotional number highlights various life occurrences in the everyday life of a female. Although the video is arguably meant to honor women by showcasing them in all sorts, some women believe it was distasteful to feature a transgendered person.

Transgender actress Laverne Cox made a brief appearance in the video and is shown removing makeup and seated in front of a vanity mirror. Although many are praising Legend's decision to feature Cox and honor women of all types, others maintain that although the sentiment is nice, Cox is not a women and that is taking away from the meaning of the video.

A Transgender person is someone who was born a gender at birth, but has a sex change or does not accept the title of their gender because they feel that this is a false or incomplete description of themselves. Cox is an American actor on the the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, and made history by being the first transgender person to be nominated for an Emmy.

"The Media says everything must be LGBT friendly. I didn't mind the actual gay women in the vid, but the man-lady made no sense," one comment on YouTube read. Many others not bothered with Cox making a feature, upheld that the video is beautiful and had made them "cry."

"This video makes me still want to believe in humanity. No words to describe how great this is?," another comment read.

In the song Legend is telling the woman in his life that he believes she is perfect just the way she is. The song lyrics read, "You fix your make up, just so, Guess you don't know, that your beautiful, Try on every dress that you own, You were fine in my eyes, a half hour ago."

Adding, "All of the stars, they don't shine brighter than you are, Ain't nobody in the world but you and I."
