Joel Osteen to Host Annual America's Night of Hope Event at Yankee Stadium (DETAILS)

Televangelists Joel and Victoria Osteen will host their sixth annual America's Night of Hope at the New Yankee Stadium on Saturday, June 7. The event is projected to attract more than 55,000 people from across the nation.

This will be the second America's Night of Hope at Yankee Stadium. The first was on April 25, 2009 just nine days after the ballpark's debut. Osteen's event was the first non-baseball event to be held at the stadium. Other annual events have also taken place at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles (2010), U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago (2011), Nationals Park in Washington D.C. (2012) and Marlins Park in Miami (2013), respectively.

"Victoria and I love the people of New York," said Pastor Osteen in a press release. "We're excited to be at Yankee Stadium again, and we believe people will be uplifted and filled with an expectation that their best days are still to come."

As a part of the events surrounding "America's Night of Hope," Joel Osteen Ministries will aid New York City's people with hundreds of volunteers that will bring optimism through acts of compassion and kindness.

The Generation Hope Project will play a major role in America's Night of Hope annual events. Since 2012, they already have delivered thousands of volunteer hours of service through labor projects at schools, community centers, and parks, in Miami, Florida and Washington D.C.

2014's Generation Hope Project will emphasis more on mentoring than ever before at. Helpers will have a chance to work with kids who need good adult role models. To help out, a sign up sheet is available at www.generationhopeproject.com.

Tickets are $15.00 and are available January 25 at www.joelosteen.com or Ticketmaster outlets.
