Jesus Culture To Release 9th Live Album ‘Let It Echo’ In 2016

Jesus Culture

Jesus Culture Music and Capitol Christian Music Group are set to release its ninth live album in 2016.

According to The Christian Beat, the album entitled "Let It Echo," centers on the heart of the community of the one-year old Jesus Culture Sacramento Church in Sacramento, Calif.. The report reveals that the church is looking for Jesus with a burning passion of getting to know him better and witness his passion transcend in various cities and nations.

Jesus Culture Music President and Worship Leader Chris Quilala took to Google Hangout to explain more about the new album. He said that recording with people they had been building a community and worship culture with from the ground up had a different atmosphere.

According to Quilala, it was different to lead the songs with the same community with whom they had been writing the songs for. He said they all shared ownership of the songs as a community.

For Quilala, the upcoming recording might be his favorite in that aspect, having produced it as a community, feeling very personal and special, not just only for them, but also for their church.

According to Quilala, the songs felt that they had come out of a very deep place within them. He added that while he and wife's son had lost their son, a lot of the songs had come out of praise and were still believing that God was good even in pain and trials.

In a separate interview with The Christian Beat, Quilala shared how their first single "In The River" had been written in response to a need by the pastors. He said that he had been sitting down to write with someone, and he had had a friend who had gone around just asking pastors around the nation and they said that they wanted songs about joy, not necessarily songs that said joy, but songs that made one feel joy.

With its more progressive arrangements, "Let It Echo" is advertised to be Jesus Culture's best sounding album.

"Let It Echo" is set to be released on Jan. 15, 2016.
