Jennifer Aniston News: Actress Finally Ties The Knot With Justin Theroux

While various tabloids have been claiming throughout their engagement that they have split or already got married, much to the delight of her fans, actress Jennifer Aniston finally married her long-time fiance Justin Theroux on Aug 5. In fact, many people were surprised when the couple tied the knot at their Bel-Air home quietly, without the world getting a whiff of the ceremony.

According to Christian Today, TMZ was the first to break the news of the nuptials when the website posted some photographs of the couple's special day. The website claimed that the Aniston and Theroux told their celebrity friends that they were celebrating Theroux's birthday, since the actor is going to turn 44 next week. However, when their friends arrived for the party, the couple allegedly confessed that they were going to have a wedding right then and there.

TMZ further stated that some guests showed up in jeans, as they thought that they were celebrating Theroux's birthday and that the gathering was just a casual affair.

TMZ claimed that some specific details alerted them that something special was about to take place later that evening, because they noted the arrival of a pastor holding a bible walking into the house. Furthermore, a cake with male and female puppet toppers was delivered to the couple's Bel-Air home.

The guests who witnessed the nuptials included Howard Stern, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Chelsea Handler, Sia, Jimmy Kimmel and Jason Bateman and others. In addition, the occasion was also attended by Aniston's 'Friends' co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox. Meanwhile, People magazine reports that Cox served as Aniston's maid of honor, while Theroux's friend, Scott Campbell, served as best man.

While TMZ reported that Aniston wore a "flowy, white and summery" dress, a report in Us Weekly claimed that a source told them that the actress' hair was styled by her longtime hairstylist and good friend Chris McMillan.

The wedding rings of Aniston and Theroux were designed by the actress' friend, Jennifer Meyer. The couple's friend, photographer Terry Richardson, snapped the wedding pictures, while guests feasted on pasta, chicken, and fish at the reception, Us Weekly reported.

Aniston and Theroux have been dating since May 2011. The actor proposed to the 'Cake' actress on his birthday on Aug. 2012.
