Rap star, Jay Z has finally broken his silence on wether or not he will still work with Barney's after they reportedly racial profiled two black customers. His New York inspired Holiday collection at Barney's is reportedly going to be a massive hit for the store and the rap star. The collaboration between the two was set for November 20th, but has come under alot of fan scrutiny in the wake of the Barney news. Fans keep urging Jay-Z to drop the collection in respect to being black, but is he going too? 

Jay-Z has finally made it clear that the timing is still incredibly too soon to tell wether or not he will call it quits for the collaboration this November.  "I move and speak based on facts and not emotion. I haven;t made any comments because I am waiting on facts and the outcome of a meeting between the community leaders and Barney's. Why am  being demonized, dennounced and thrown on a cover of a newspaper for not speaking immediatley?"

While some fans thought his silence was taken as an insult, he was very clear to elaborate on the fact that he will make no direct call on his clothing line until he knows for a fact what happend and how it will handled. Jay-Z also made it clear that he isn't taking he situation lightly . " I am against discrimination of any kind btu if i make snap judgements, no matter who it's towards, aren't I commiting the same sin as someone who profiles? I am stranger to being profiled and I truly empathize with anyone who has been put in that postition. Hopefully that brings forth a dialogue to effect real change ."
