'Jason Bourne 5' News, Trailer Recap: Matt Damon’s Character Set To Wreck Havoc Las Vegas Script?

Matt Damon's character Jason Bourne is set to wreck havoc Las Vegas script, along with his chair leg weaponry in the latest trailer of Paul Greengrass' upcoming action film "Jason Bourne."

The new trailer features a car chase sequence that shows the Las Vegas strip, which is a government hack called as "worse than Snowden," along with several fisticuffs. According to Independent UK, the trailer also teases fans with conventional Bourne action, such as nailing foes with chair legs.

Based on the trailer, it is assumed that "Jason Bourne" is set to cover on a leak that is associated to Snowden, which relates Bourne's return to a realm of fist flying institutional movement.

Prior to the new trailer, fans saw the last "Jason Bourne" trailer at the Super Bowl 2016, where they saw a buffed-up star Damon as the titular character ready to fight and take down his foes.

In a statement (via Entertainment Weekly), Greengrass said that he was hopeful that they could reassure the audience that what they were seeing was an authentic "Bourne" film with an authentic "Bourne" feel with the same character, but nine years later. For the director, one did not make such kind of film unless he thought it could be a worthy successor.

"Jason Bourne" centers on the titular character, who now remembers his real identity. Thus, he makes his attempt to learn more about events from his past. Aside from Damon, the film also stars Bill Camp, Neve Gachev, Ato Essandoh, Riz Ahmed, Vincent Cassel, Tommy Lee Jones, Julia Stiles, and Alicia Vikander.

With Greengrass at the helm of the film, Christopher Rouse, who penned the script "The Bourne Ultimatum," "The Bourne Supremacy," and "Captain Phillips," is on board to pen the script.

Greengrass' "Jason Bourne" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on July 29. Watch the latest trailer here.
