'Iron Fist' Release Date, Spoilers: Marvel-Netflix Show Arriving In March 2017

New details on the release date of Netflix and Marvel's "Iron Fist" have surfaced and as per reports, fans are set to see the series next year.

"Iron Fist" is set to launch on Mar. 17, 2017, Vine Report has learned. Netflix made the announcement, along with the show's teaser trailer.

Previously, Netflix unveiled a coming soon video for "Iron Fist." It featured young Danny Rand, who will eventually become Iron Fist. In the clip, the character was shown lying devoid of any sign of consciousness in the snow, though it also shows a seat from a plane that crashed. Another sequence showed a grown up Danny, who was tied up on a hospital bed trying to break out from the institution.

"Iron Fist" may walk the same path as "Luke Cage's." According to iTech Post, the latter overwhelmed Netflix's servers, which indicate a positive response in Marvel and the media streaming service's output. In addition, "Daredevil" season 2 is performing well with its 13 million viewers in the initial 35 days from its release. "Jessica Jones" only got six million viewers in the same timeframe; however, it proved that it got a better result that "House of Cards" and "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt."

"Game of Thrones" star Finn Jones is set to play the role of Rand/ Iron Fist. On Oct. 4, Marvel tweeted a photo of the actor as the character on its official social media account. It features Jones in combat versus a man. Behind them are several men who have presumably taken down by the superhero. In caption, Marvel wrote "Open heart. Closed fist."

Overall, "Iron Fist" is set to air on Mar. 17, 2017.
