iPad Mini 5 Specs Rumors: New Small Tablet Will Feature 128 GB Storage?

Rumors surrounding the specs of the iPad Mini 5 are flying around, including the suggestion that it's going to feature a 128 GB storage.

However, according to Macworld, there's just no evidence right now to support all that talk, although it expected the tablet to have a bigger capacity than the previous Apple iPad Mini 4.

The same goes for the processor of the iPad Mini 5, which will incorporate the A9 as opposed to the A8 of the Mini 4. That means more speed and better graphics.

The article also shared more rumors on the specs of the iPad Mini 5, including a slimmer frame due to a smaller battery. That means that the next generation's battery dimensions and capacity might be lower than the 5,124 mAh in the current gen, but it doesn't mean that the battery life will be compromised.

Apple is said to be working on a new technology that will allow the Mini 5 to keep up, if not surpass, the performance of the Mini 4 in terms of battery life.

By all indications, Apple will stick to a 1.2 MP camera as the front snapper and an 8 MP as main camera.

Meanwhile, in other rumors, the Apple iPad Mini 5 will reportedly cost around $424 for the  basic16 GB version, $530 for the 64 GB, and if there's going to be a 128 GB tablet, it's going to set consumers back about $770.

According to PC Advisor, the Apple iPad Mini 5 will be available by September of this year.

There should be plenty of more specs rumors that will come out before then. However, the article shared the suggestion that the device will still feature a 3.5 mm headphone jack much like the rumored iPhone 7.
