iOS 9.3 Problems, Glitches: Activation Issues Found; What You Need To Know Before Update

Apple has unveiled the latest iOS 9.3, but as with pioneer releases, it has a slew of problems and glitches even after seen beta tests which could prove to be annoying for consumers.

One of the more prominent glitches was the Night Shift mode, which features some quirks to say the least.

Gordon Kelly wrote for Forbes that the Night Shift doesn't work on older devices, which is understandable since the app is written for 64-bit, but also when the device is on low power mode.

"The reasoning behind this is unclear," he said. "Since with Night Shift enabled displays should actually use less power. The other obvious point is Night Shift is designed to be used at night which is when a device is mostly likely to be running low on power."

The other problems and glitches reported by users on iOS 9.3 include issues on activation, the vibration, the App Store going missing, the Touch ID and the 3D Touch and the music app.

Users also complained that they got cut off from the 4G LTE devices after updating to the latest iOS.

"I restarted my network settings and still can't access the web through my 4G LTE," the user explained. "I have never had this problem before it only started after I updated my phone."

But Gotta Be Mobile noted that the problems and glitches of iOS 9.3 do not appear to be widespread, "and there do appear to be several workarounds."

"Some users have solved the problem by connecting the device to a computer and iTunes. Others have got around it with a full restore via iTunes. We'll keep an eye on this issue," it said.
