iOS 9.3 Jailbreak News: New Version Features Night Shift, CarPlay, Apple Offers iOS 9.3 Beta Download

With the iOS 9.3 version upcoming, Apple has released what to expect on its operating system while a 9.3 jailbreak is also possible, according to recent reports.

Apple's iOS 9.2 and iOS 9.3 can be jailbroken, but only with a small probability according to iDigitalTimes. As per the publication, Italian developer Luca Todesco, who has reportedly jailbroken iOS 9.0, 9.1, and 9.2, said that that iOS 9.2 and 9.3 were "extremely difficult jailbreaks" to pull off. He added that both would not likely reach the public.

As per the publication, iOS 9.1 has a higher feasibility than its successor. On Jan. 8, Todesco tweeted that 9.2 was much harder to jailbreak than 9.1, adding that people should not update if their iOS version was on 9.1.

In another tweet, Todesco wrote that as a rule of thumb, one should not update his device, if he wanted it to be exploitable. He added that patched bugs were better for jb vs dropping 0day all the time.

As per Apple's official website, iOS 9.3 presents several features, including Night Shift, which uses one's iOS device's clock and geolocation to check when it is sunset in the location; Note security using a password or fingerprint; personalized News; Health dashboard, allowing one to see new health apps; and CarPlay's New and For You from Apple Music.

Apple is now offering a iOS 9.3 beta download for developers, alongside a regular user option, which may be available as part of the preview program soon. For the time being, the release date for the iOS 9.3 is yet to be revealed, though it is highly probable that it would coincide with Apple's announcement of the new iPhone 6c and Apple Watch 2.

With developers spending more time with the iOS 9.3 beta download, more details about the new software version are yet to come.
